Responsibilities Hands-On Development Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript for event-driven and RESTful integration patterns Support Angular version upgrades across UI projects Build solutions using AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, EventBridge, RDS, etc.) within a microservice and micro-frontend architecture Address technical debt by upgrading outdated dependencies/frameworks Ensure comprehensive test automation coverage Other duties as assigned Security & Compliance Actively support security best practices to remain compliant with the FRB System and US Treasury guidelines. Ensure deployed code is actively scanned by the enterprise scanning tool(s) for vulnerability identification and remediation. Create and maintain required technical documentation to support the application infrastructure, design, development and testing. Collaboration & Communication Coordinate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, InfoSec, and Program Management Collaborate effectively and share knowledge with the scrum team and other teams within the portfolio as needed Communicate project status, risks, and blockers to stakeholders Qualifications Required 5+ years of software engineering experience. Proven experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, CDK/CloudFormation) and Java/Spring Boot ecosystem Strong Angular experience; micro-frontend architecture (module federation) a plus Microservices architecture experience, including strangler pattern for modernizing legacy applications Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenSearch) Proven technical leadership with cross-team collaboration U.S. Citizenship (required for FedRAMP High environment) Strongly Preferred Experience using development accelerator tools Experience with test automation
