Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HVAC Service Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics and ensuring efficient fleet management. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to optimize dispatch operations.
Duties
- Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Coordinate with drivers and service personnel to schedule and assign tasks efficiently.
- Monitor fleet movements and provide real-time updates to stakeholders.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and service requests through effective data entry practices.
- Communicate with customers regarding service inquiries, updates, and resolutions in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to handle inbound calls effectively while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management is preferred.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for decision-making purposes.
- Must know how to work with Quickbooks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining detailed records accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of freight operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
