Join our dynamic construction team as an Experienced Concrete Worker and play a vital role in this construction role! Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete projects.
- Prepare and set up formwork for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability according to specifications.
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently during various phases of construction.
- Install rebar and metal studs for reinforcement, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision to achieve smooth finishes and meet design specifications.
- Conduct concrete cutting, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks as needed for restoration or renovation projects.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently while handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting activities.
Experience
- Proven experience working on diverse construction projects involving concrete installation, finishing, and related tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, saws, and other power tools.
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpretation to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, and formwork construction practices.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in planning materials and labor needs effectively.
- Experience working within safety protocol guidelines specific to the construction industry.
- Background in carpentry, metal stud framing, flooring installation, tile laying or stucco work is a plus for versatile project support.
