The Marketing Coordinator partners with the VP of Business Development to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of marketing initiatives that communicate a consistent company message, strengthen Larson-Danielson’s brand, and demonstrate value to prospective clients.
This role bridges marketing strategy with day-to-day pursuit activities, supporting business development, preconstruction, and operations teams across General Contracting, Construction Management (CMC), and Design-Build delivery methods. The Marketing Coordinator also contributes to the development and execution of long-term marketing strategies aligned with company growth goals.
Proposals & Pursuits
- Lead preparation and production of RFQ/RFP responses, qualifications packages, and interview presentations for public and private sector clients
- Coordinate content development with estimating, project management, and executive leadership
- Develop, prepare, and manage client-directed presentations; assist teams with messaging strategy and preparation
- Maintain and continuously improve a library of marketing content, including resumes, project sheets, narratives, photography, and video
Brand, Collateral & Communications
- Create and manage marketing collateral, including brochures, mailings, project sheets, and presentation templates
- Maintain and update company website content, including project highlights, employee features, and company announcements
- Oversee social media messaging, content creation, and performance monitoring
- Coordinate production and distribution of employee and client newsletters
- Support public relations efforts, including press releases and media communications
Events, Conferences & Project Support
- Coordinate planning and execution for trade shows, conferences, career fairs, and industry events
- Assist in planning company events and client-facing functions
- Provide project marketing support, including branded signage, groundbreaking ceremonies, ribbon cuttings, and promotional materials
Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Coordinate corporate sponsorships, donations, and partnerships with nonprofit and community organizations
- Identify opportunities that align with Larson-Danielson’s brand and community presence
- Serve as a primary point of contact for community inquiries and maintain ongoing relationships
- Track and report on community engagement activities, sponsorships, and associated marketing exposure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 2–4 years of marketing experience (AEC industry experience preferred)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling client-focused content
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
