Job Summary
We are a drug free agency looking for someone to work Part-time based on 25 hours per week. Flexible hours may be assigned for agency activities. This position must be available in an event of an emergency on an as needed basis.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas of the social center.
- Conduct janitorial duties such as restroom sanitation, submit requistions for replenishing maintenance supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Assist with minor facility maintenance and repairs
- Support social center staff with general assistance including aiding in the kitchen when needed.
- Outdoor social center maintenance and upkeep, including snow removal and lawn mowing.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven abilities to work in this field
- Must work well with others
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ablility to pass required background check, driving history and drug screening
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must have the ablility to move throughout the facility and assist with program setup
