The Opportunity
Your primary focus will be developing relationships with wedding professionals throughout Ohio and converting those relationships into advertising, listing, membership and partnership revenue.
But we want you thinking beyond a list of people to call.

How can we better serve our wedding professionals?
What partnerships could we create?
How can we grow revenue while building a brand people genuinely want to be part of?
We want someone who thinks like an entrepreneur and approaches this role as if the success of the business matters personally to them.
Relationships Come First
Everything we have built has been based on relationships.
We are not looking for an aggressive salesperson who simply wants to close the next deal.
We want someone who loves making connections, getting to know business owners, understanding what they need and becoming someone they trust.
The sales come from those relationships.
If you are someone who can walk into a room not knowing anyone and leave with five new friends, we should probably talk.
What You'll Be Building
You will:
- Develop relationships with wedding professionals throughout Ohio
- Sell advertising, directory listings, memberships and promotional opportunities
- Follow up with existing leads and industry contacts
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Reconnect with past advertisers and industry relationships
- Attend select networking and wedding-industry events
- Meet with wedding professionals by phone, video and in person
- Identify new partnerships and revenue opportunities
- Help improve sales messaging and packages based on what you are hearing in the market
- Work directly with the owner to develop growth strategies
- Take increasing ownership of the revenue and partnership side of Devoted Weddings Ohio
You Are NOT Starting From Scratch
This is one of the biggest advantages of this opportunity.
You will have access to an established brand, an active wedding website, thousands of wedding-industry contacts, existing leads, marketing materials, advertising packages, networking opportunities, sales tools and years of industry relationships.
You will also work directly with an entrepreneur who has spent more than two decades in the wedding and hospitality industries and has built multiple six-figure businesses.
You won't simply learn how to sell a directory listing.
You'll gain experience in relationship marketing, sales, business development, positioning, client experience, entrepreneurship and growing a business. Skills you can use for the rest of your career.
We Want Someone Who Thinks Like an Owner
This position has flexibility, but it also has accountability.
We believe people do their best work when they have freedom to manage their schedule AND clear goals, support and structure.
This is a hybrid role. Much of your work can be completed remotely, but you will also have regular in-person strategy, sales and accountability sessions in the Dublin/Columbus area.
You will have flexibility in how you accomplish your goals.
What matters is that the goals get accomplished.

Wedding-industry experience is helpful, but not required.
Experience in hospitality, events, advertising, media, sponsorship sales, membership sales, business development or B2B sales could translate extremely well.
Compensation
Estimated annual commission earnings: $40,000-$80,000+
This is currently a 100% commission-based opportunity with compensation tied directly to the revenue you generate.
The role is designed for someone who wants the ability to create significant income rather than being limited by an hourly wage.
You will be provided with the brand, leads, contacts, tools, training and support. Your success will ultimately depend on your ability to build relationships, consistently follow up and generate business.
