Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled BIM Manager to lead our Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives across diverse interior design projects. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of BIM processes, ensuring seamless integration of cutting-edge 3D modeling and digital collaboration tools. Your expertise will drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in project delivery while maintaining strict adherence to building codes and industry standards. You will provide firm-wide leadership for Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, technology, and project delivery, lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Revit and AutoCAD workflows for interior design projects, oversee model quality, and develop standards and content libraries. Additionally, you will mentor staff, and collaborate with project teams to deliver coordinated, accurate construction documentation. Duties
Project Competencies:
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, templates, and Revit content libraries.
- Lead BIM execution planning and model coordination for interior design projects.
- Manage project models through all phases from concept to construction administration.
- Perform model audits, quality assurance, and clash detection.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors as needed.
- Improve workflows through automation and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend implementation.
- Lead the development and enforcement of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all projects to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage the creation and coordination of detailed 3D CAD models using software such as Revit, CAD, and SketchUp.
- Collaborate with Studio Dado designers architects, and clients to integrate BIM models into project planning, design schematics, and construction documentation.
- Oversee the use of building information modeling (BIM) tools for clash detection, system design analysis, building code compliance checks, and construction detail documentation.
- Facilitate training sessions for team members on CAD software applications including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and other relevant platforms.
- Ensure all models adhere to building code regulations and industry standards for safety and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to develop schematic designs, interior layouts, mechanical systems modeling, and 2D/3D visualizations including graphic design elements.
- Support project teams in CAD drafting activities related to engineering design and construction documentation while maintaining high accuracy levels.
Duties may include REVIT/CAD modeling and drafting, developing sketches, conducting research and data collection, preparing presentations and reports, and general preparation and production of design and construction documents. Revises and updates presentations, REVIT/CAD models, drawings as requested by others.
It can be expected to work on multiple projects, providing concepts and techniques in ways that may explore new ways of achieving design solutions, completing tasks to deadlines, and effectively utilizing resources to address project requirements.

Qualifications
Education:
Minimum bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM certifications, NCIDQ, LEED, or similar credentials are preferred.
Experience:
8 to 10 years of progressive experience in BIM management, interior design, or architecture with extensive experience leading Revit- and AutoCAD-based project delivery across multiple project types.
Supervisory/Leadership Skills:
Proven track record demonstration working independently with minimal supervision. Provides technical leadership, mentors project teams, oversees BIM quality control, and establishes firm-wide standards and best practices with prior teams.
Communication:
Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with design leadership, project managers, consultants, and clients. Leads BIM coordination meetings, training sessions, and technology initiatives while promoting collaboration across disciplines.
System and Application Skillset:
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of BIM standards, family creation, templates, model coordination, construction documentation, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Dynamo, Enscape, Twinmotion, Rhino, or Grasshopper is an advantage.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
