Country Acres Child Development Center is looking for a motivated, dependable, and experienced Assistant Director to join our leadership team!
Qualifications:
- Must currently possess a Texas Child Care Director's License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the child care field
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred
- Some college coursework preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older with valid driver's license
- Willingness to drive a center mini bus -25 years of age or older for insurance purposes
- Available to work rotating shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for mentoring teachers and supporting curriculum implementation
- Ability to make sound, timely, and confident decisions in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations of the center
- Support and mentor teachers in the classroom
- Help implement and oversee curriculum
- Maintain positive communication with families and staff
- Ensure compliance with licensing standards and center policies
- Assist with transportation as needed
Compensation:
Pay is based on experience.
