Defender Services, a company that hires workers for manufacturing facilities, is seeking MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS for a textile manufacturing plant in SPINDALE, NC.

Shifts Available:
11PM to 7AM- Monday through Friday
7AM to 7PM rotating 12 hours shifts-You work 15 days a month and have every other weekend off
Duties:
- Some minor preventive maintenance of the machines.
- Assist with the tear down and buildup of various types of machinery.
- Painting of emergency areas.
- Troubleshooting various issues and machines.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work extra shifts when needed
- Must have some electrical knowledge
- Background Check
- Drug Testing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds during the entire shift
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have minimum of 6 months experience in maintenance
- Must have the ability to meet schedules and deadlines
- Must be good at planning and organizing
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to safety protocols
- Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
- Must be able to bend/stoop, squat, climb, reach above shoulder level, reach at or below shoulder level, kneel, twist and bend at the neck, twist and bend at the waist and balance, push and pull for the entire shift
- Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have your own basic tools
- Must have knowledge of repairs
- Must be able to work alone and accomplish the task
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
