This is B2B wholesale sales.
You will be calling retail store owners and buyers nationwide and internationally.
Some outreach is warm (past customers).
Some outreach is targeted cold calling (stores that carry similar products but have not ordered from us).
This role requires consistent outbound phone communication.
It is not social media marketing.
It is not passive order-taking.
It is not retail sales.
If you are uncomfortable picking up the phone daily, this is not the right role.
What This Role Actually Is
We are a reorder-based wholesale importer.
Our customers buy the product, sell through it, and reorder.
Your job is to:
- Generate new wholesale accounts
- Reactivate dormant accounts
- Increase reorder frequency
- Increase average order size
- Maintain consistent follow-up cycles
The faster our customers sell through product, the faster they reorder.
You are responsible for revenue production.
Daily Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls daily to retail store owners and buyers
- Follow up consistently on quotes and open opportunities
- Track reorder timing and anticipate customer needs
- Present new product launches and promotions
- Maintain detailed customer records in Excel (order history, notes, product photos)
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure smooth fulfillment
- Handle objections professionally
- Attend Las Vegas trade shows twice per year (travel covered)
- Stay organized and know your numbers
You will be measured on production and account growth.
Compensation
$29-$40 per hour base pay.
Relevant experience will determine the range.
Annual tiered commission based on revenue generated.
This role provides a stable income with meaningful upside for consistent performers.
Year one is focused on building your book of business.
Income grows with production and retention.
Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
- Prior B2B sales experience
- Comfortable making outbound calls daily
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle rejection professionally
- Highly organized and computer literate
- Excel proficiency required
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
