Position Summary: It will be important that the Transportation Coordinator be supportive of OneHeart's mission to build viable pathways our of poverty and to help educate the community about our mission. Drivers will transport program participants to and from employment, childcare, nonprofit services, education, job interviews, government services and non-emergency medical needs. Drivers would also maintain the cleanliness of the van, including sanitization between transports. Service area will be limited to driving in the Rapid City-Box Elder-Blackhawk-Summerset-Rapid Valley area. This position report to the Transformation Supervisor.
Duties:
- Managing fleet
- Training and supervising drivers
- Operating a 12-passenger van
- Transporting program participants to and from various pre-approved locations
- Creating/managing system for taking ride requests
- Preparing routes
- Setting schedules for and communicating with riders
- Other non-driving or van-related duties around the campus as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have a valid South Dakota Driver's License
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be insurable
- Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check to include driving history
- Must be knowledgeable in navigating the local service area
- Must be a kind, genuine person who is dedicated to the OneHeart mission and truly wants to help people rebuild their lives

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
