Overview
The Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive the right parts and exceptional service. This position involves assisting customers with their parts needs, managing inventory, and maintaining an organized stock area. Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in identifying and selecting the appropriate parts for their needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide accurate information.
- Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring that all parts are properly labeled and easily accessible.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of parts.
- Assist in retail sales by promoting products and services to customers.
- Utilize math skills to calculate totals, change, and other financial transactions accurately.
- Support sales management efforts by providing feedback on customer preferences and trends.
Skills
- Experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram a plus.
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience a plus. - Strong customer service skills to effectively assist and engage with customers.
- Excellent communication abilities to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Experience in stock management to maintain an organized inventory system.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures, including operating a cash register.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
- Solid math skills for accurate financial transactions.
- Previous experience in retail sales or sales management is advantageous.
