The Opportunity
ASF is seeking a detail-oriented Quoting Support Associate to provide administrative and quoting support for our Inside Sales team and broader quoting function. This role helps improve quote turnaround time and accuracy through vendor coordination, documentation, and data entry in our ERP/CRM systems.
The Quoting Support Associate plays a vital role in supporting the sales pipeline by generating accurate, timely price estimates and product proposals. Working directly under the Inside Sales Coordinator, this position handles high-volume quote requests, verifies pricing and inventory availability, and minimizes response times for clients. This role requires exceptional data entry speed, sharp mathematical accuracy, and seamless collaboration with internal teams to ensure a smooth administrative sales workflow.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with preparation of quotes
- Collect vendor pricing and ensure all required quote inputs are received
- Compile vendor pricing into standardized formats for Inside Sales review
- Support RFQ follow-up activities for quotes
- Enter, maintain, and update quoting data in ERP/CRM systems
- Organize quote documentation, customer records, and pricing files
- Assist with supplier sourcing for specialty and non-standard fasteners
- Track vendor responses, follow up as needed, and escalate delays/issues promptly
- Participate in RFQ and award review activities as assigned
- Assist with lost-quote analysis and data cleanup
- Support day-to-day tasks that contribute to larger quoting projects and deadlines
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard CRM databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
