Key Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting to keep outdoor spaces pristine and inviting
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks such as pruning, aerating, and installing irrigation systems
- Precision hedge trimming and shaping
- Support irrigation setup and repairs to ensure proper watering schedules for healthy plant growth
- Perform lawn care duties like fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush, green lawns
- Help with gardening activities such as planting new greenery, mulching beds, and maintaining flower beds
- Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring maintenance or horticultural attention
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
- Maintain walkways, entry areas, and outdoor living spaces
- Proactively identify areas needing improvement
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or lawn care is preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Knowledgeable with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and horticultural principles is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and hoes confidently
- Experience using power tools like trimmers or blowers is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads
- A positive attitude combined with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
