Career Start is currently seeking 1st and 2nd shift Production Workers for a manufacturing company in Akron, NY. As a Production Worker, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and production goals.
1st Shift: 5 am to 130 pm Monday through Friday
2nd Shift: 1 pm to 930 pm Monday through Friday
Responsibilities of the Production Worker:
- Operate molding and packaging machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned production areas, including sweeping floors and removing debris.
- Handle materials efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Requirements of the Production Worker:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout the shift.
