We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our team at LakePoint Augusta. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel
- Assist with additional housekeeping or laundry tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping and laundry services (healthcare setting preferred)
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
