Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, where your expertise will be vital in delivering rapid, compassionate care to patients experiencing urgent health crises.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to determine the severity of conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, including IV infusions, injections, suturing, and advanced airway management techniques.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage acute pain and provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as infectious diseases, trauma injuries, or post-operative recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead triage processes to prioritize patient flow based on acuity levels while ensuring adherence to NCQA standards and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience.
- Valid RN license in Michigan and current BLS certification
