About us
The Barrel Social Club is a small business in Franklin, KY offering a members-only setting for tournament and cash poker, darts, and billiards to the Nashville and Bowling Green areas. We operate 7 days a week. Our hours of operation start at 5pm on weekdays and 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. We are looking for team members who will take responsibility of their role to create a memorable club experience. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Company Standards of Conduct
All Barrel Social Team Members are expected to always conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct. Safety is an essential work function.
Responsibilities
- Greet all new and existing members
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests
- Manage customer flow including seating and wait lists
- Answer phone calls and customer questions
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, supplied, and secure workstation
- Accurately complete and document customer transactions
- Verify balances and safeguard assets
- Track, update, and restock inventory
- Consistently communicate with management and other staff, immediately reporting any infractions, issues, concerns, or needs for assistance
- Stay up-to-date on player services operations and relevant laws
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions, events, tournaments, and special offers throughout the property and effectively communicate to guests
- Fulfill promotional offers by the club, including but not limited to coupons, prizes, redemption, and drawing tickets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Accounting or math degree preferred
- 6+ months customer service experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year poker experience strongly preferred
- Experience with point-of-sale system preferred
- Consistent and regular attendance
- Availability to work varied shifts (including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs or exert up to 30 lbs of force to move objects
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to perform counting and multiplicative math with ease
- Fine motor and manual dexterity
- Establish and maintain positive guest and staff relationships
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks/task switch/respond as needed
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in customer transactions, inventory tracking, and promotion fulfillment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
