Job Overview
Performance Home Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Support Specialist to join our Human Resources department and provide additional in office support to employees and leadership.
This position is ideal for someone who is approachable, steady, and comfortable helping with employee questions, workplace concerns, and sensitive situations in a busy health care environment.
The HR Business Support Specialist will work closely with the Director of Human Resources and alongside the HR Administrator to support employees, managers, and consistent HR practices throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Serve as an accessible HR resource for employees and managers who need guidance or assistance.
Receive employee concerns, gather relevant information, explain next steps, and help resolve routine workplace matters.
Conduct routine workplace reviews and assist with sensitive employee investigations.
Support managers with conversations involving attendance, conduct, communication, performance, and policy expectations.
Review employment documentation for clarity, completeness, and consistency.
Assist with maintaining employee records, leave documentation, policy acknowledgments, training records, and other compliance requirements.
Support audits, policy updates, employee training, and Human Resources projects.
Work with operations and clinical leadership when employee matters involve patient care, safety, privacy, or agency requirements.
Maintain clear and confidential documentation throughout the review and resolution of employee matters.
Recognize concerns that require prompt involvement from the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications
At least five years of hands on Human Resources experience is preferred. Relevant experience should include employee relations, workplace investigations, manager coaching, policy interpretation, and employment documentation.
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Current SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
Experience in home health or health care environment is helpful.
The successful candidate must communicate clearly, protect confidential information, remain composed during difficult conversations, and work effectively with employees and leaders at every level.
Schedule and Work Location
This is an in office position located in Richardson, Texas. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional remote work may be approved by management when business needs allow.
Pay: $75,000.00 per year
