General Sales Manager – High Opportunity Growth Role
A well-established automotive dealership is seeking a General Sales Manager/GM to lead and drive performance across the sales and finance departments. This is a hands-on leadership role for a natural born leader who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, has the ability to win over and lead a team, and understands that follow-up is key to driving results.
We are looking for a proven operator with strong desking ability, accountability standards, and a deep understanding of F&I performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the sales and finance teams to consistently achieve and exceed targets
- Drive front-end and back-end gross through strong deal structure and lender alignment
- Enforce disciplined follow-up processes across all leads, deals, and unsold opportunities
- Maintain a culture of accountability, energy, and performance
- Work closely with ownership to execute strategy and improve store results
- Ensure a seamless customer experience from showroom to delivery
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a GSM, Desk Manager, or high-performing Sales Manager
- Strong F&I background or former Finance Director experience required
- Proven ability to structure deals and maximize profitability
- High-level leadership presence with the ability to win over, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Strong process discipline with a clear understanding that consistent follow-up drives revenue
