Job Title:
X-Ray Technologist/ C-Arm
JOB SUMMARY Performing all aspects of Radiology/X-Ray Services in the Center.
QUALIFICATIONS Physical: Good physical health is required due to walking, standing, and periodic pushing/pulling of the patients and/or equipment.
Must be well-coordinated and able to move about freely. Dexterity is necessary. Visual and audio acuity as needed for job performance. Speaks clearly and distinctly. Neat, clean, and particular about appearance.
Mental: Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others. Meet the needs of X-ray services as demanded by the schedule.
Education: Must have completed high school or equivalent, possess valid and active American registry of radiologic technologist (ARRT) certification, State license, or appropriate radiology certification as Radiology Technologist (RT) with adequate experience in all Radiology areas.
Experience: Ambulatory Surgery Center , C-Arm Fluoroscopy
WORKING CONDITIONS 1. May have exposure to patient's communicable diseases.
2.Possible exposure to X-ray/radiation.
JOB RELATIONSHIP Reports to the Director of Nursing
RESPONSIBILITY A. Monitors and assesses radiology exams and results.
- Prepares radiology procedures, protocols, and manuals.
- Provides adequate staffing for the Radiology Services.
- Provides annual reviews and evaluation of Radiology personnel.
- Orders and stocks supplies for Radiology.
- Reports to the physician regarding patient test results.
- Responsible for the Radiology equipment certification and making sure that the Radiology Service follows all regulations and guidelines.
