Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
- Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, following all safety protocols and handling instructions
- Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in pristine condition
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks using proper safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock cleaning stations efficiently
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects and basic facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or painting when required
- Follow established safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, commercial cleaning equipment, and chemical handling procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting with proper safety practices
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily tasks effectively
- Valid drivers licence and car
