We are looking for a Licensed Optician to join a fast-growing optical retail company in South Florida.

About Clara Optical
Clara Optical is a fast-growing optical retail chain based in Florida with 5 locations and 15 more to come in 2026. We offer quality eyewear at very affordable prices and eye exams (telemedicine).
Responsibilities
- Help customers choose frames and lenses based on their prescription, needs, face shape, and lifestyle
- Take accurate measurements, including PD, segment height, and other required optical measurements
- Adjust, fit, and troubleshoot eyewear
- Explain lens options, coatings, transitions, progressive lenses, and protection plans in a simple and customer-friendly way
- Review orders for accuracy before submission
- Support customers after the sale, including adjustments, remakes, warranty questions, and product education
- Ensure compliance with Florida optical rules and company procedures
- Help train and support non-licensed optical sales team members
- Work closely with management to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational processes related to optical dispensing
Requirements
- Active Florida Licensed Optician license
- Experience in optical retail, eyewear sales, and dispensing
- Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, measurements, adjustments, and optical troubleshooting
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to educate and guide customers
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable using basic technology and order systems
- Experience training optical sales associates
- Ability to travel to other locations
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$33/hour based on experience
