Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll systems in JAMIS Accounting software
- Manage employee data entry, updates, and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, and tax requirements related to payroll and benefits administration.
- Support benefits administration including enrollment, changes, and tracking within HR systems.
- Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, tax filings, and employee information with precision.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor law compliance, payroll tax regulations, and financial concepts related to payroll processing.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel), accounting software (QuickBooks or similar), and data entry accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent analysis skills to identify discrepancies or errors in payroll or financial data.
