Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across engine, electrical, transmission, and vehicle systems.
- Perform repairs on automotive engines, including diesel engine repair and powertrain servicing, ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work with attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for mechanical repairs, heavy lifting, and component replacements while adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
- Repair and maintain automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and uphold high standards of automotive service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience in a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and vehicle operation standards.
- Experience working with ADAS technology, automotive wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, engine system diagnostics, and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with auto body repair processes and alignment procedures is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities to explain technical issues clearly.
