American Traveler is hiring an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, active ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and proficiency with Epic EMR.

Cardiac Cath Lab setting at an acute care hospital

Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular and radiological imaging procedures
-
4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off

On-call required on both weekdays and weekends

Epic EMR used for charting

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab required; 2 years preferred

One of the following certifications required: ARRT-R, ARRT-CV, ARRT-VI, CCI-RCIS, or CCI-RCES

Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required for candidates holding RCIS or RCES designation (not required for ARRT-certified candidates)

BLS (AHA) required

ACLS (AHA) required; must not expire prior to start date

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred

Active license required if applicable

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Assists physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures, acting as scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions

Operates imaging equipment and monitors, documents procedure images and events from the control room

Provides patient care under RN supervision and educates patients and families on pre- and post-procedure expectations

Maintains appropriate stock levels for complex interventional and diagnostic procedures and completes all required documentation

Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
