Plumbing Service Technician
Job Summary
Plumber(s) Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fitting, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures in commercial and residential structure. Experience plumbers train apprentices and will at time work alongside other construction workers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Locating and identifying leaks and potential future problems.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and at times some electrical work may be required for a task to be completed. (Additional certification maybe needed for electrical work, please review with your manager)
- Determining the right tool and/or equipment for the job.
- Work with Dispatcher(s) with scheduling and possible scheduling conflict.
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Work with Department Manager as needed with job costing and/or customer concerns.

REQUIRED Skills and Desired skills
- Three (3)+ Years of residential plumbing service experience.
- Knowledgeable of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
- Develop proven track record in soldering, fixture installation, leak detection and repair.
- Continued education and training.
- Clean, safe driving record.
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
- High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma and/or GED certificate
- Three (3)+ Years of residential plumbing service experience.
Physical Demands:
- Push/pull up to 75 Lbs
- Ability to kneeling up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs
- Ability to sit up to 8-10 hours
- Ability to stand up to 8-10 hours
- Ability to consistently twist, stoop, bend/crouch, crawl, and reach
- Repetitive hand, wrists, arm and leg motion
- Ability to have to be squatting consistently
Pay Scale:
- $25 - 54 (including uncapped incentive)
Work Environment:
- Field
- Working in private residences as well as commercial
- While performing the duties of this job, the plumber will be exposed to:
- Excessive heat/cold, inside/outside work, excessive noise, body mechanic repetitious, work
- Varies weather conditions (wet/dry surfaces), dust/debris, and confining areas of a home for short period of time.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrations.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shocks

WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday – Friday / 8:00AM – 4:30PM; with a 30-minute lunch
Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per hour
