American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN - OR for a surgery center position requiring 1 year of recent acute care OR experience and float coverage across multiple surgery centers.

Work in the Operating Room department of a fast-paced surgery center
-
Day shift schedule, 5 days per week from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
-
Lower acuity patient population with a wide variety of surgical cases including ortho sports med, general, ENT, pediatrics, GYN, podiatry, plastics, and urology
-
Patient ratios of 1:1 in the OR and 2:1 in PACU

Uses paper charting and SIS EMR system
-
Required to float to all surgery centers in the Denver area on an as-needed basis

13-week assignment length

Active RN license (CO state or compact) required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required

Experience circulating a variety of service lines in a fast-paced environment preferred

PEDS experience preferred

No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Facility is located adjacent to a medical center

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this travel position
