We are looking for a new addition to our team ASAP. The ideal candidate with have experience working with the psychiatric and behavioral health population. He or she will also need to have experience working in an outpatient medical facility and the ability to work independently. Micromanagement is not possible in this office. People willing to take initiative and want to learn are encouraged to send in their resumes.
Responsibilities included but not limited to:
Greeting and scheduling patients
Obtaining current insurance verification and detailed breakdowns
Account payment application
Answering phones
Scrubbing the charts of any given providers
Interfacing with insurance companies and pharmacies
Patient interviews and coordination of care activities
Time management
Multi- tasking
Requirements:
We are in need of an experienced medical assistant. Must be organized and detail oriented and be able to multi-task in a busy environment. EMR experience is required. We are looking for loyalty, a good work ethic and longevity. Must have experience and knowledge of Nevada insurances. Spanish speaking preferable but not required.
Minimum of 1 year experience. If you meet these requirements, are interested in the position and available to start immediately.
