Big Rack Shuttle is looking for a dependable, customer-focused driver to transport riders and their bikes to local trailheads. This seasonal role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, meeting people, and keeping the good vibes going for every rider.
Position Details
- Seasonal: May–October (summer/fall riding season)
- Schedule: Primarily weekends & holidays (our busiest and highest-paying days)
- Hours: Hours can be inconsistent and vary based on demand — drivers are added to a pool and scheduled as needed
- Pay: Commission-based per van load driven, averaging around $30/hr depending on volume
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vans to transport customers and their bikes
- Load and unload 6–14 bikes (up to 50 lbs each) with care
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and maintain a positive vibe throughout the trip
- Climb on and off van roofs and walk safely on bike racks to load/unload bikes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle and bike rack setup
- Work independently and manage time efficiently between runs
Requirements
- Age 25+ (required for insurance purposes)
- Clean driving record – no major violations or recent accidents
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable climbing on/off van roofs and walking safely on bike racks
- Safety-oriented and aware when working at height and around heavy equipment
- Availability on weekends and holidays
- Positive, friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Self-motivated and reliable
