Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and construction practices. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work in various environments including construction sites and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work required.
- Estimate project timelines and material needs accurately.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and other surface preparation tasks as necessary.
- Execute restoration and maintenance tasks on existing structures.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various painting tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects.
