American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS certification for a community hospital setting.

Work within adult acute care, adult outpatient, ED, and ICU settings
-
5x8 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:30 AM rotations
-
Rotating weekends required, approximately 1 in every 4
-
May be required to float to other campuses within the health system as needed

Performs adult echo, 2-D and 3-D echo, bubble studies, color doppler, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, portable studies, RVIT/RVOT assessments, and routine studies
-
TEE and stress echo experience preferred

Uses PACS and Philips equipment
-
GE and/or Philips ultrasound equipment experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

ARDMS RDCS AE or CCI RCS certification required

BLS certification required
-
Active license required at time of submission, if applicable

Community hospital experience required

Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred

3D strain image enhancing experience required
-
TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE experience required

Epic charting system experience required
-
Current driver's license required to verify address

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates within this radius will be considered

All candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed
-
RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted
-
Third-party education verification required, with degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list not accepted

No open background check cases permitted

Non-billable orientation modules average 2-4 hours and are completed during orientation
