Multicraft Maintenance Technician – Third Shift- Direct Hire
Location: Lima, OH
Pay: $26.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Third shift, 2/2/3 rotation, 7:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Multicraft Maintenance Technician to support a clean, climate-controlled, high-production manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and installing production equipment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with conveyors, robotics and automated manufacturing equipment in a plastics, food or beverage production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, set up and maintain proprietary production equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and service life.
- Conduct predictive maintenance using condition-monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Assess equipment health and identify potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical and technical problems using a systematic troubleshooting process.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and complete repairs promptly.
- Troubleshoot and repair molding machines and other automated production equipment.
- Adjust machinery to improve performance and meet production requirements.
- Work with maintenance and technical teams to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Minimize production interruptions through timely equipment repairs.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and labor hours in the maintenance-management system.
- Assist with general facility-maintenance needs.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and organized production environment.
- Complete required company-sponsored technical training.
Required Experience
- Industrial maintenance experience in a high-production manufacturing facility.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing conveyors.
- Experience with robotics or automated production equipment.
- Experience in plastics, food, beverage or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance safety practices.
- Ability to use measurements and calculations when completing maintenance work.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and team-collaboration skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Availability to work third shift on a 2/2/3 schedule and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year technical degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electronics or a related field.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing molding machines.
- Predictive-maintenance or condition-monitoring experience.
- Experience using computerized maintenance-management systems.
- Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience.
