Job Overview
We're seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for a busy Family Medicine Clinic in Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for both local and travel professionals looking to gain experience with a leading healthcare organization. Outstanding performers may receive a permanent full-time employment offer at the conclusion of the assignment.
You'll work alongside physicians and clinical staff caring for patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, pulse oximetry, and patient history
- Perform 12-lead EKGs
- Administer immunizations and intramuscular injections
- Collect, label, and process specimens
- Document accurately using Epic EMR
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures
- Maintain exam rooms and support daily clinic workflow
- Provide compassionate, professional patient care
Requirements
- Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) License required
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient, family medicine, adult, or pediatric clinic
- Previous Epic EMR experience required
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
