Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join Airy Cleaning Co. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
- Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain organized supplies inventory and ensure proper storage of cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines related to janitorial work, including proper disposal of waste and use of protective gear.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as sweeping entryways or maintaining outdoor cleaning areas.
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial expertise.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work activities.
- Exceptional attention to detail for dusting, surface cleaning, carpet maintenance, and overall tidiness.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents and their appropriate application based on surface type.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required.
