Overview
Andrews Bistro is looking for Servers/Bartender for a casual fine dining restaurant where your energy and passion for exceptional service will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you’ll be the heartbeat of our establishment, expertly taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Whether working at the bar or in the dining area, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills in a lively environment that celebrates hospitality, fine dining, and community connection. Paid training and ongoing support will help you thrive in this exciting position. We are open Tuesday - Saturday and Closed most Sundays except for private functions and major Holidays that fall on Sunday. We are open are the following major holidays; New Years Eve, Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. These days are mandatory. We are closed the first week of July. training is based on your experience and menu knowledge. Usually 3 to 5 days are the standard.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast systems, ensuring quick and precise processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specialty drinks, brewing options, and catering offerings to assist guests effectively
- Uphold food handling standards and ensure compliance with health regulations during all service interactions
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy nights or special events like banquets or nightclub evenings
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math applications, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or catering functions
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in a hospitality setting is desirable
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
