A well-established hospital and cardiology program in
Staten Island, New York is seeking an
Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced interventional cardiologist who wants to practice
core coronary interventional cardiology in a collegial, community-based environment while playing an important role in the continued growth of the program.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, permanent Interventional Cardiology position
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM scheduled clinical hours
- 24/7 PCI support, including elective and emergency PCI
- Inpatient and outpatient bread & butter Interventional Cardiology
- New cath lab opening soon, expanding procedural capacity and opportunities for growth
- Approximately 4–6 call shifts per month, including weekends and rotated holidays
- Midlevel support in the office
- No requirement for structural heart procedures such as TAVR or MitraClip
- PE thrombectomy experience is a plus, but not required
- Teaching opportunities with residents and trainees

Ideal Candidate
- Board-certified Interventional Cardiologist
- New York medical license required or ability to procure
- Ideally 3+ years of interventional cardiology experience
- Comfortable with elective and emergency PCI
- Strong clinical and procedural skills
- Team-oriented and comfortable working in a community-based environment
