Key Qualifications:
- Valid, active Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts (required)
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with students, faculty, and families
- Additional Massachusetts educational certifications (may be required)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Foster an inclusive, positive environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential
- Engage in ongoing communication with school staff regarding student progress
