Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for new guests
- Assist with food and beverage delivery by bussing tables promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of tableware, chairs, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support food safety standards by properly handling dishes and utensils during cleaning processes
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnover and guest needs
- Ensure all sanitation and hygiene protocols are followed to uphold health standards
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation and hygiene standards
- Experience in bussing or supporting food service environments preferred
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate with servers and kitchen staff
- Customer service mindset with a friendly, positive attitude towards guests
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures within the food industry
- Effective communication skills to work seamlessly within a team environment
