Job Description:
As a Gym Sales Representative, you will be the face of Knockout Fitness Peoria, responsible for promoting our services and attracting new members to our fitness community. You will play a crucial role in driving membership sales and ensuring our gym remains a vibrant and welcoming space for all.
**Responsibilities:**
1.**Sales Generation:** *** THIS IS A SALES POSITION!*** Actively engage with potential members to understand their fitness goals and present membership options tailored to their needs.
2. **Lead Generation:** Implement strategies to generate leads, including outreach initiatives, flyers, person to person, business to business, networking events, and partnerships with local businesses.
3. **Membership Enrollment:** Guide prospective members through the enrollment process, providing information on membership benefits, pricing, and promotions.
4. **Customer Relationship Management:** Build strong relationships with current and prospective members to foster a sense of community and loyalty.
5. **Follow-Up:** Conduct timely follow-ups with leads to nurture relationships and address any questions or concerns they may have.
6. **Promotional Activities:** Assist in organizing and executing promotional events, such as open houses, member appreciation days, and fitness challenges.
7. **Sales Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads generated, conversions, and revenue generated.
8. **Product Knowledge:** Stay updated on the features and benefits of our gym memberships, services, and amenities to effectively communicate with potential members.
9. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with fellow team members and management to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the gym.
**Qualifications:**
1. **Sales Experience:** Previous experience in sales, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
2. **Excellent Communication Skills:** Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
3. **Goal-Oriented:** Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
4. **Self-Motivated:** Ability to work independently and proactively seek out opportunities to generate leads and close sales.
5. **Passion for Fitness:** Genuine interest in health and fitness with a desire to help others achieve their wellness goals.
6. **Flexible Schedule:** Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate the needs of the business.
