Overview
We are seeking a talented and energetic Cartoonist to bring stories, humor, and visual narratives to life through captivating illustrations. Duties
- Develop original cartoon concepts, characters, and storylines that align with project goals and audience interests
- Create hand-drawn illustrations and digital artwork using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
- Design layouts for print advertising, web content, and multimedia projects utilizing tools like Adobe InDesign, After Effects, and Maya for motion graphics or 3D animation
- Incorporate principles of color theory, typography, and visual storytelling to enhance the clarity and appeal of each piece
- Collaborate with art directors, writers, and other creative team members to refine concepts and ensure cohesive visual communication
- Prepare artwork for various media formats including screen printing, digital publishing, or animation production
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design illustration, digital art, hand-drawn illustration, and visual arts painting techniques
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, SketchUp, Maya, After Effects, and other graphic design software
- Experience with layout design for print advertising or interior/production design is a plus
- Familiarity with motion graphics, 2D animation, HTML/CSS for web design or interactive content creation
- Understanding of typography design for media and visual design principles to craft compelling visuals
- Ability to apply color theory effectively across different media formats
- Knowledge of screen printing techniques or print production processes is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interpret creative briefs clearly and work collaboratively within a team environment
