Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Case Manager/Foster Home Developer to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. In this vital role, you will coordinate and oversee foster care placements, develop foster homes, and ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care. Your proactive approach will help build stable, nurturing environments for children who need support, while collaborating closely with child welfare agencies, families, and community partners. - Assess the needs of children requiring foster care and develop individualized care plans to support their emotional, physical, and developmental needs
- Recruit, train, and support foster families to ensure they meet licensing standards and are equipped to provide safe, nurturing homes
- Conduct home studies, safety inspections, and ongoing evaluations of foster homes to maintain compliance with licensing requirements
- Coordinate placements by matching children with suitable foster families based on their unique needs and circumstances
- Collaborate with child protective services, social workers, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
- Provide ongoing case management by monitoring child progress, addressing challenges, and facilitating necessary services such as counseling or educational support
- Maintain detailed documentation of case activities, home visits, assessments, and compliance records in accordance with agency policies
Qualifications
College Degree
Experience working with a Child Placing Agency and has a familarity with child protective services is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is advantageous
Background in social work, adoption processes, or related fields demonstrates a commitment to child advocacy
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, agencies, and community partners
Ability to conduct home visits and complete home study assesssments and detailed documentation accurately
Compassionate approach combined with organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
