We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Para Educator to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education to students, particularly those with special needs. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Support students with literacy and math education, ensuring they grasp fundamental concepts.
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective behavior management techniques.
- Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to reinforce learning objectives.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons for students with disabilities or special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Engage in classroom management to maintain an orderly and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a supportive educational environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
- Background in special education, early childhood education, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and educators.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
