JOB
Definition: Under the general direction and supervision of the general services director and/or their designee, the Custodian is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
One year of industrial/commercial cleaning experience; a demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions; a general knowledge of a variety of cleaning, equipment and supplies. Must have experience working in confidential environments. Must be 18 years of age.This position will work approximate 25 hours a week.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
The employee is regularly required to stand and walk; frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle items and operate equipment, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, and crouch; and occasionally required to climb or balance and communicate orally. The employee must frequently transport up to 50 pounds and occasionally transport up to 100 pounds.
