Overview
This is a confidential search on behalf of a private family relocating to the Arlington, Virginia area. The family is seeking an experienced, professional nanny who will become a long-term extension of their family. The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, proactive, discreet, and passionate about child development while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Children
- Two young boys (approximately 2½ years and 1 year old)
- Family is expecting a newborn this fall.
- Extensive infant experience and experience caring for multiple young children simultaneously is strongly preferred.
Schedule
- Primarily Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Guaranteed full-time hours
- Flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, travel, and schedule adjustments is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Exceptional childcare for infants and toddlers
- Plan engaging developmental activities
- Encourage learning through play with minimal screen time
- Children's laundry
- Children's meal preparation and family meal prep
- Grocery shopping
- Household organization
- Light household support related to the children and family
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
Ideal Candidate
