The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Manager, Engineering Services to join our collaborative team at Yakima Memorial Hospital in the sunny Yakima Valley, Washington. Your 5+ years of facilities experience in a healthcare setting, along with supervisory or lead capacity experience will help directly shape the patient experience—creating a space where patients and families feel safe, cared for and supported from the moment they arrive.
Position Summary
The Manager Engineering Services is an exciting opportunity and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all activities of the Construction/Trades division, Operating Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Engineering Technicians to ensure the assigned facilities are furnished with uninterrupted utility services, general maintenance of buildings (interior and exterior), preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems. The Manager provides direct and indirect supervision of staff in assigned area; collaborates with the Manager, Systems Sustainability and Safety and individual Subject Matter Experts to develop short- and long-term plans and to ensure the assigned areas meet all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or ability to obtain in three (3) years
- Experience in all trades
- Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Five (5) years facilities experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Professional Engineering license in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
- Consideration may be provided to internal candidates not meeting the education requirement

Pay: $90,492.00 - $131,518.40 per year
