Part-Time Licensed Cosmetologist / Hair Stylist

Are you a motivated, licensed cosmetologist looking for a salon where you can grow your career? We are a busy, full-service salon seeking two passionate professionals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service, building lasting client relationships, and being a valuable part of our team.
We're looking for stylists who either have an established clientele or are motivated to build one. This position also includes receptionist responsibilities, so we're seeking someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys creating a welcoming experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of salon services including:
Haircuts for men, women, and children
Hair coloring, highlights, balayage, and corrective color
Styling and blowouts
Waxing services
Manicures and basic nail services (preferred)
Other cosmetology services within your license and experience
Conduct consultations and recommend services and retail products based on clients' needs.
Build and maintain a loyal clientele through outstanding customer service.
Assist with front desk duties, including:
Greeting clients
Answering phones
Scheduling appointments
Checking clients in and out
Processing payments
Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Maintain a clean, sanitized, and professional salon environment in accordance with state regulations.
Take high-quality before-and-after photos of your work and regularly promote your services on social media.
Work collaboratively with the salon team to create a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
Current Cosmetology License (required)
Experience behind the chair is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Existing clientele is a plus, but applicants who are motivated to build their client base are welcome.
Comfortable performing receptionist duties as part of the position.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Professional, reliable, and punctual.
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
Comfortable using social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to showcase your work and help grow your clientele.
Ability to perform multiple cosmetology services; nail services are preferred but not required if willing to learn.
