Primary Functions : Registered nurse, who will provide safe nursing care to the pediatric and adult patients. The RN is responsible for daily patient care, assessment and treatment in collaboration with the clinical medical providers. Assists with administrative issues which affect the clinical practices within the office as well as comply with the administrative policies and clinical protocols. Hours include Monday through Friday 9:00 AM-5:00PM.
Essential Functions:
- Focuses on the care of patients with chronic allergic conditions, including but not limited to, allergic rhinitis.
- The ideal candidate for this position must be able to multitask.
- Duties include providing direct patient care and health education.
- Promote health maintenance, encourage compliance with recommended treatment plans.
- Instruct patients on allergen avoidance, proper allergy medication administration.
- Administer, interpret, and record skin testing.
- Order, mix and maintain serums for allergy injection.
- Recognize and handle emergency anaphylactic protocol.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have or be eligible for NJ nursing license
- Phone Triage experience preferred
- BLS Certification with the American Heart Association required
- Prefer candidates with experience in allergy care
Biologics Coordinator Tasks:
- Fill out applications for complicated meds
- Obtain Prior Auths thru various portals for biologics
- Administer allergy injections if required
- Educate patients on injections and home use
- Triage Medical Refills
- Handle provider tasks
