Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Truck Stop General Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy truck stop, convenience store, and restaurant. This is a fast-paced leadership position that requires strong operational, financial, and sales experience. The ideal candidate has previous experience managing a gas station or truck stop and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service while growing the business.
Duties
- Oversee all daily operations of the truck stop, convenience store, parking lot, and restaurant.
- Lead, train, supervise, and schedule a team of customer service associates and other staff.
- Manage front counter operations, ensuring efficient service and accurate cash handling.
- Monitor the financial performance of the business by updating daily financial reports, tracking sales, and maintaining operational spreadsheets.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping for parking bookings, customer transactions, payments, and customer interactions.
- Monitor truck and trailer parking operations, assign parking spaces, collect payments, and ensure parking policies are followed.
- Oversee restaurant operations and work closely with restaurant staff to maintain quality service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop relationships with trucking companies, local businesses, and commercial customers to increase fuel sales, parking revenue, and repeat business.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through sales, networking, and customer outreach.
- Maintain inventory, coordinate vendor deliveries, and ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and all applicable regulations.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Experience
- Required: Previous management experience in a gas station, truck stop, travel center, or convenience store.
- Strong sales, business development, and customer relationship skills.
- Experience managing financial reports, daily sales, cash handling, and operational records..
- Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and point-of-sale systems.
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
