Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Host to join our vibrant team at Peppino's Downtown Sports Lounge in Grand Rapids. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued while contributing to our mission of providing an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly with a positive attitude
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience
- Promote a friendly and inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
- Qualifications
- Previous host/host experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of guest services principles is beneficial
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
